About Virtuvault
What is Virtuvault?
Virtuvault is a private asset intelligence platform for collectors, investors and family offices. Members document, verify, value and preserve high-value assets, such as cars, watches, jewellery, fine art and property, in one secure place, with ownership records, an AI valuation engine called Vectran, and concierge support.
Who is Virtuvault for?
Collectors, investors and family offices who hold valuable physical assets and want one private, well-documented record of them. Private banks, wealth managers and insurers can also work with Virtuvault through partnership arrangements.
Is Virtuvault invitation only?
Yes. Membership is by invitation. You can request to join at virtuvault.io/request-to-join and a member of the team will reply personally.
Does Virtuvault hold my assets or my money?
No. Virtuvault does not take custody of members' funds or physical assets at any point. It is a record-keeping, documentation and valuation platform, not a vault, broker or bank.
Valuations and Vectran
What is Vectran?
Vectran is Virtuvault's valuation engine. For each asset it produces an indicative estimate with a value range, a confidence score, how many comparable records it used and the assumptions behind the figure, so you can see why it says what it says. It adjusts for factors such as condition and authentication where relevant to the category.
Is a Vectran valuation a formal appraisal?
No. Vectran gives indicative estimates, not certified valuations, and Virtuvault does not provide investment, tax, legal or insurance advice. For insurance, sale, probate or legal purposes, use a qualified professional appraiser. Where there is not enough market evidence for a reliable figure, Vectran says so instead of guessing.
Where does the market evidence come from?
From comparable sales and market listings supplied by third-party data sources, which vary by category, together with any specialist appraisal. Vectran weighs the strongest, closest matches more heavily and uses a weighted median of them, so a single unusual price cannot swing the figure. The confidence score reflects how strong that evidence is.
Can I add my own appraisal or valuation?
Yes. You can upload an appraisal document and record the appraiser, date and value, and it is shown alongside the Vectran estimate on the asset's page.
Security and privacy
How is my data protected?
Virtuvault is hosted on Amazon Web Services, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access to member data is least-privilege and role-based, and every account is protected by two-factor authentication through an authenticator app. Sessions sign out automatically after a period of inactivity. Who can see my assets?
You can, and anyone you choose to share an asset with. Sharing is per asset, with people you invite, and you can change or withdraw it. Virtuvault staff access is limited to what is needed to run the service and support you.
Can I connect my crypto accounts?
Where a connection is supported (currently crypto exchanges), access is read-only: Virtuvault never asks for trading, transfer or withdrawal permissions. Credentials are encrypted at rest and you can disconnect at any time, which removes the stored credentials and balances.
Membership
How much does Virtuvault cost?
There are two memberships. Verification is free, with up to 10 self-declared assets, which remain unverified. Private is £5,000 a year or £450 a month and includes unlimited assets with full verification, advanced Vectran valuation insights, reporting and priority support. Prices are shown in pounds sterling.
How does asset verification work?
Private members can request verification of an asset. A Virtuvault administrator reviews the supporting documents and ownership evidence, and the asset is marked Verified only once that review is complete. Specialist or expert review is used where an asset needs it.
How do I get in touch?
Use virtuvault.io/request-to-join to ask for membership or to talk to us about a partnership. Organisations such as private banks, wealth managers, insurers and family offices can use the same page and choose the institution option.
